I am the founding Executive Director of the International Convocation of Unitarian Universalist Women, an organization of liberal religious women dedicated to building international partnerships to improve women's lives. I have written a soon-to-be-released book with Karen LaFrance, Global Sisters in Action: Crossing Frontiers, Organizing, Advocacy, and Microlending about our work with ICUUW in Uganda doing microlending and microfinance. My husband and I retired back to my hometown of Monterey in 2014. We have two grown daughters and three grandchildren. I am a member of the Houston Writers Group and a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Monterey Peninsula. I sing in the Monterey Peninsula Gospel Community Choir and Camerata Singers of Monterey County.
