Laura Nagel

Bio: I was the founding Executive Director of the International Convocation of Unitarian Universalist Women, an organization of liberal religious women dedicated to building international partnerships to improve women's lives. I am working on a book with Karen LaFrance about our work with ICUUW in Uganda doing microlending and microfinance. My husband and I retired back to my home town of Monterey in 2014. We have two grown daughters, and three grandchildren. I am a member of the Houston Writers Group and a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Monterey Peninsula where I am a leader of Communities Organized for Relational Power in Action. I sing in the Monterey Peninsula Gospel Community Choir and Camerata.
